What is Geedka Mooska?

Geedka Mooska is a children's educational program for Somali-speaking children that helps children to love and get ready for life-long learning.

Geedka Mooska is mainly for Somali speaking children but it has also been dubbed into Af Maay for children in this sub-language in Somalia.

Geedka Mooska's programming is well-researched and corresponds with priorities of government education and health guidelines. Academic, social and health themes are woven through programming to encourage learning while children are being entertained.

 

Who Are We?

Geedka Mooska is led by a team with several years of using innovative and creative methods to educate and motivate the next generation of Somali-speaking youth.

Geedka Mooska and Poet Nation Media partner with the Response Innovation Lab for Somalia to leverage interagency skills and maximize humanitarian impact.
